The Arc of the Arts studio

Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Arc of the Arts  is a daily  arts education program offered by The Arc of the Capital Area! Clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) explore artistic mediums and create artwork that is professionally shown and sold at quarterly art shows, local businesses, and online. Our professional artist instructors guide students to find an artistic facet that best allows them to express themselves. This provides a customized employment program that promotes client-directed goals and self-determination. We actively bridge the gap of post secondary education support for the I/DD community and families. The Arc of the Capital Area creates a family like community where students learn to better express themselves, increase social skills, and gain a sense of independence and pride!

Private pay and provider pay options are available.  Only $25 per day!
