The Arc’s Autism Assets @ Work

The Arc’s Autism Assets @ Work is an initiative to prepare individuals on the autism spectrum for job placement in the information technology industry. Autism Assets @ Work utilizes a proven methodology developed by Neurodiversity in the Workplace that has been used successfully with large technology companies including Dell, Microsoft and Dell to identify talent.

The Arc’s Autism Assets @ Work is not a job-placement program, but a skills-building, network-building, resume-boosting work readiness program.

Two-Week Dell Enterprise Experience

Selected participants will attend 2 weeks of classroom-based instruction on social communication, focus and concentration, collaboration etiquette, executive functioning, self-advocacy, managing emotions and more.

Participants will also engage in a number of team projects guided and facilitated by The Arc of the Capital Area staff that will culminate in a presentation of their work to staff and executives from Dell.
