"It's important to have organizations like the Arc because it makes for a positive experience for people with disabilities to explore their creativity whether it be painting, coloring, movement, acting, singing etc. It's a space where they don't have [to] worry directly about paperwork, medical concerns or home life. It encourages them to find an expressive outlet and take charge of how they want to live in their adult lives. When you have an outlet for creative expression, you are more likely to be open to others around you and find inspiration and be inspiring to others. It makes for a cohesive society that is more understanding and respectful." - Luke, Art & Education Instructor#Disabilities #Creativity #Art ... See MoreSee Less
