Ways to Get Involved

Sign the Coleman
Institute Declaration

The Declaration of the Rights of People with Cognitive Disabilities to Technology and Information Access (called “the Declaration”) is a list of reasons why people with cognitive disabilities, including intellectual and developmental disabilities, deserve to have access to computers, internet, and other information and communication technology.

Volunteer with
Your Group

The Arc of the Capital Area has one-time volunteer opportunities for community, school, companies and other groups. Group volunteering occurs in our post-secondary program which includes courses in art, health and wellness, gardening and career education.

Buy Art from
the Gallery

In The Arc’s Art Education Program, clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) explore artistic mediums and create artwork that is professionally shown and sold at art shows, local businesses, and online.

#FactFriday -There were over 25 million people in Texas according to the 2010 census. There is still time to take the census, and it's so important for everyone to be counted! For instructions and resources, visit thearc.org/census/ #arcaustin ... See MoreSee Less
